A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Today’s journey to creepy abandoned places led me to a place in my own county. The Alvira Ammo Bunkers. Apparently some are open and you can explore the insides. I’ll have to revisit when I’m better dressed for a hike.

On the return route, I found this interstate underpass to take a break from the sun, which turned out to be a rural dead-end/driveway. Pic-worthy, though.

So that led to this which turned out fine. So.... Off with the carbs which on an E is almost akin to poking your eye with a stick. I couldn't see anything amiss anywhere. So I pulled the needle from the offending outside and swapped it tothe good outside then blew the heck out of all the passages in case my old eyes missed something. Went for another short ride in the 38c and it sounded perfect this time and all the exhaust pipes shot the same temp so I think the airbox fight was worth it.

Nice! I hate taking carbs off any of my GS’s

Been going out for morning rides 2-3-4 days a week, and evening rides 2-3 days a week.

Morning rides often include a walk on the pier.
THis morning got a parking space with good pose for picture.

Couple of weeks ago I went up island to a motorcycle show in Duncan.....the organizers snapped this pic of me leaving. :)

A fine crisp winter's day (Southern Hemisphere) and a place I haven't visited in years. Waiwera beach, on the Hibiscus Coast north of Auckland, New Zealand. It used to be on the main state highway north, before the motorway was built. Used to have a water park pool complex as it is a thermal spring, but a Russian oligarch and a dude from Las Vegas bought it and ran it into the ground. The complex is now no more. So it's a quiet backwater, but still as pretty as a picture.

Finally got out today for a couple hours. Been weeks, what with Amy's surgery, and constant rain or heat...And it felt good.
Got sprinkled on a bit, and had to stop for lunch to let a big rain come through.

Not today, but yesterday!

Took a little trip to ride the infamous "triple nickel" in southeast Ohio. It was definitely worth the trip! I rode parts of it 3 times!

That's one of my favorite curves on the whole thing!

As you know, there aren't a lot of areas to pull over and take care of business on that road. That little bridge seemed like a safe spot to "water the grass"!

I'm all in on making that area a yearly must-ride! I rode a few other roads on the windy9, but they pale in comparison to 555, IMHO!:D

Hey, Dale Dogma , you want to give us an update on your condition since the BC Rally? Even just a thumb’s-up would be cool. No need to retell the story, just wondering how things are going for you.

Took the GZ250 out for a day of bike and hike. About 170 miles which is about the most I'd wanna ride this bike cuz the seat isn't as comfy as the bigger bikes. If you zoom in above the right mirror you can see the road I'm headed toward going over the next big hill East side of the Genesee River.

Got out for a couple hours this morning. Stopped at Douglas Dam and found some shade for a leg stretch.
