If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Well the forecast had no rain for the weekend except some precipitation over night, hence the we roads.
This is not the first time I have road over to our annual gala....I put my formal clothing in a garment bag and try fold it into my top case. Put my dress shoes etc in the saddle bags.
I stayed at the Hilton which is where we had the Gala....so they have underground parking...parked and took my garment bag out and put my helmet in the top case. Took the tank bag off and put it in one of the saddle bags.
I wear leathers with armour.
Funny story...after checking in at the lobby front desk I go over the elevators and there are like 8 pilots speaking Swedish I believe that got on with me in my motorcycle gear....then my phone started to ring and of course it's a motorcycle engine ringtone ....my hands being full I had to to let it keep "ringing"...or revving ....they all started laughing when I said "can you tell I ride motorcycles"?? :)

Had good snow about 10 days ago

& 9 & 8 days ago (4", 4", 2") and had been cold enough for it hang around.
Most of it melted two days ago, but still some roadside piles melting and running into the road.

Sunday was mid 40s and calm.... so got out for a ride.... so that qualifys for a December ride.

Do have a story:
Headed further out of town.
Got thru first half of a double S curve..... was a pickup truck comming from the other way...
and something came off the truck,,,,,,
some rectangular thing, bouncing, tumbling, whith lots of shiney things scattering about also sliding and bounceing on pavement comming toward me in my lane -yikes- looked like something was breaking up into shiney pieces.
I managed to steer-jog around the big rectangular thing that was still sliding in my direction, but I ran over two or three shiney things.
I went a little further, then pulled over to side of road , took couple deep breaths, tires seemed okay, then I turned around and went back.
At some point I figured it was a big tool kit, and the shiney things were lots of sockets, and maybe it came from top of one of those tool boxes behind the cab of pickup truck.
THe guy in the truck also had turned around and come back.
I stopped before the curve, to wave down oncomming traffic to slow down, while the guy was running around in the road and shoulder gathering up his tool kit.
After he got his stuff gathered up, he went way out of his way to come over to me and said "thanks for stopping to help".
I said " I didnt just stop, I turned around and came back, that thing dumped in the road right in front of me".
THe guy said was the stupidest thing he has ever done and appologied all over the place. THe guy did look shocked and stunned. ANd appologized more.
I said that it looks like a new big tool set. He said needs it for work. And appologied some more. I waved and I went on my way.

Stopped on my return trip for my goofy roadside selfie photo.

As I was leaving, the guy came back, and went looking around off the shoulder of the road. I waved and continued on.

Continued on my way.

Got to a boat ramp park.

Boat docks were out of the water, in the parking lot.

Signs Signs Everwhere are signs.
Says No Fishing, No Diving, No swimming.
And I didnt fish nor swim nor dive.

(Before you think I am completly stupid: I did check the stability of the dock by walking up on it and purposly trying to rock it sideway. So, I am only partly stupid.)

Overall, was out for about hour and a half.
January and Febuary will be the difficult months to find a day to go for ride (so can say ride every month of the year) (some years it doesnt happen).

Just riding around town today. Still a fun time.
Stopped by the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History for a quick photo.

I just moved back to AZ from New Mexico, where I spent the past 15 months helping a friend build teams for a small chain of automotive shops. I passed that museum's offramp multiple times and never went. I sure do love the Balloon Museum and the BioPark, though.
