A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

The wife picked me up some Olympia winter riding gloves for Xmas got a chance to put about 3 hours on them today with temps in the mid 40s. Worked fair on their own but worked better with a pair of glove liners in addition.

Here are few shots from Red River Road on the Lummi Reservation this morning. 42 degrees, raining lightly.

going stir crazy

I am waiting for the roads to dry here. It is windy and the sun is coming out so it shouldn't be long, maybe noon. Wanna get out for a little ride before the year is up.
Anyone else?

No riding for awhile for me. 2" of snow and still falling. We're getting our White Christmas a week late, for New Year's weekend.:D

27F and spitting snow here....
I was down in your hill country riding Billy Ricks' GS not too long ago.

Maybe it's time for me to move south??

I got out for a while, rode to the middle of nowhere, took a few pics and came home. The wind today is tiring.

Trevor,

Regarding the chain, it probably is a little loose, but I do the sit on bike method of slack, with the suspension weighted with my girth.

I haven't found many tight spots with Regina chains. This one has about 6K on it.

You can't fool us....you went out to check on your still in that shed, didn't you? Whipping up a batch of old genuine Caintuck juice for New Year's!

I took the old girl out for a shake-down this evening. Was right around 50, and I was ill-prepared (OK, I had the liner in but that didn't do much good). Came back cold but happy! It's not the best idea to ride after dusk around here thanks to all of the deer, but what the hey...

Down at the new river. Sorry my crappy phone camera couldn't do it justice. You might be able to make out a kayaker out there. He's braver than I am!
