DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Bike Bandit Blows

I have had great customer service out of BikeBandit, my only complaints are they don't use Suzuki part #'s, order time seems longer than some others and prices on Suzuki parts could be better.

If you hate BB, you probably won't like Babbitts either.
They told me there was an "wordwide delay" on pilot jets for my 650, screwed my order up and nothing but "excuses" for months.
**** them....never again!

I'll stick with stockers, Z1 and DK!
(and a few others I can't remember)

Bikebandit as of late wont let me access any schematics..I tired to punch up my 78 1000 E and it says no search results available...or something like that..Try it and see if you get anything..

I just looked and I was able to look up the exhaust system parts. What are you looking to find?

Schematic Search Results: (0 total matches) This is all I get when i hit the GO button....

EDIT:::: So they have changed their site yet again..like at least 6 times in the last year. Anyways i wasnt used to looking at the left side column..found the schematics. I just dont understand why places have something thats working and everyone gets used to it a certain way and they go in and Fvck with it. Leave well enough alone.

It's to keep you on your toes.......:D:D

I never buy anything from them as their prices are too out of scale..just use as a reference from time to time..

I don't really have time to call places, so I prefer a GOOD website. Most of the places recommended here are SEVERELY lacking in that area. Bike Bandit and Dennis Kirk have awesome websites, although I won't be ordering from Bike Bandit again. 3 weeks for a stator and tct gasket? Yeah, no thanks.

I usually do my shopping at 2am,lol.

So naturally, online ordering is easiest for me.
I have a good photographic memory, so I fly threw websites and have a whole shopping list in 1 minute, lol.

I've always had good service from Temecula Motorsports. If they have a problem in getting something, they will know right then or call you back right away. Fisches can be viewed on their site as well.

I just attempted to deal with bike bandit after they used a wrong address for my parts resulting in a big delay and the parts being returned by the post office. I emailed them twice before ordering to prevent this, to no avail.
When I called them to fix the problem they would not exert themselves.

I will never deal with them again. Beware.

bike bandit

i have spent $400 bucks with them in the last week and every thing is on time and correct . sorry to hear you had a bad deal with them. and there $5 lower then my local honda shop. it is odd that they have to get the parts in then ship them out.

All of these shops are local to someone and typically don't have the room to store large amounts of items. Consequently, they have to go to their local/regional distributor's warehouse to get them. So yea, they'll take a little while to arrive.

Personally, I'll shop more for the service than the speed. If the shops I go to will help me out with questions and work hard to get what I need without ripping me off in the process, then they get my business. They want to act like they don't care about the customer and actually put some thought into them, forget it.

I have dealt with bike bandit many times over the last year and the most I ever had to wait was about two weeks.....I also recently signed up with a program they have. For thirty bucks you get a year of cycle world magazine and a year of free shipping .....so with the free shipping they normally beat others total prices........and they always send the right parts I ordered.......thumbs up on my experiences with them.

What I have found is that ordering OEM parts online is convenient BUT it will take time as the vendor has to place the order themselves and get the parts, then reproces and ship to you. If you want parts quickly most likely you will need to support your local dealer, just the way it works.

To the OP, I see you ordered a "gasket kit" for an 8 valve 1100. I ordered the same thing from boulevard suzuki and it took just about a month to get. All other parts came in about 10-14 days but apparently the "kits" are not stocked stateside.

there a lil higher on some stuff but my 1st order was fast and correct, sorry man

I've had nothing but great results with B.B. I'm very happy with their service!!
