    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Uses standard blade fuses. 6 fuse slots available. See-thru cover, 2 spots to store spare fuses. Very nice piece. http://bluesea.com/category/5/21/products/5028
Also available with 6 ground posts, part number 5025. Handy if you like all grounds to one point.
Use with your relay mod to take advantage of the 30A Bosch-style relay.
I used this, along with 2 relays in parallel, when I installed a relay system on my GPz.
 
Ditto on the BlueSea. I installed one on my Wee-strom to wire up my Stebel Nautilus air horn, my GiPro gear indicator, and an auxiliary 12v outlet. Works great and easy to use.

I like the look of this & the Eastern Beaver one but the prices seem to be a little hard to swallow.
 
Yes, this and a parallel relay setup is less than the Eager Beaver. But you gotta factor in the connections, which I tend to be picky about.
And the EB has unswitched contacts, this does not.
 
Just wanted to resurrect this thread as I want to look at some different fuse block options. What are the dimensions of the Blue Sea? They don't list any on their site. I'm looking for something that will fit on my panel. I like this fuse block though.

I just happened to have one sitting on my bench. This is approx., O.K.?

My boat partner and I just rebuilt the whole electrical system in our sailboat with Blue Sea equipment; You can't beat it. Only other suggestion I'd make is to find a source for tinned marine wire. It's a bit pricey but will eliminate the gradually degrading performance of your electrical system. If you live in a coastal or wet and humid area, corroded wiring can become a real problem. Corrossion will start at your wire terminals and work it's way up under the insulation creating higher resistance and voltage drops.
