A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Small delay...
Got an email from the place I order my parts, Max BMW, and they need to order some of my parts from the main warehouse.
It will take 3-4 days for them to get them, then send them on to me.

No worries...plenty of time before the salt is off the roads....:)

OK..pics from Sunday...

Welcome weekend!

Should be able to get out to the garage and get some more work done today.

I got a shipment notice from Max BMW. Parts should be here Tuesday.
And the rear brake pads arrived Thursday from Beemer Boneyard.

Didn't get out there yesterday...but out there this morning.

Just taking a lunch break...and back to it. Pics to follow.

Alrighty...got a little done today. Still need the parts arriving Tuesday to finish.

Got the clutch throw out bearing, rod and arm installed.

Then got the swing arm in

Installed the final drive. Kinda a pain to get it together while getting the drive shaft phased correctly.

And then the lower arm and shock bolted up

OK...well that didn't happen...

Even though I have a heated garage, when it gets super cold I don't like to work out there...the cold just comes up through the concrete...
Plus, I had some very busy weekends...

Finally got back to it....today I replaced the speedo sensor, put new rear pads in and remounted the rear caliper...

Not much, but we are almost home...still a few weeks away from riding weather....

:D

Yup! Still haven't finished due to work and unpleasant weather.
Plus I decided to replace the clutch cable since the boot on the bottom end was torn up.

So the weather got real nice yesterday and I had the new cable so away we go.
Even got to open the garage door and get the Miata out of my way.
Need to clean out the garage after I am done with this.

Exhaust was a bit of a fidget to get on...

Refilled the trans and rear drive, put on the tank, wheel and seat...she fired right up and we went out for a couple of quick miles.

All was good...after Easter brunch at my sister's, I'll re-torque the exhaust and get the side covers/belly pan back on.

Next up...fork oil change...:)
