A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Update
I found IBS Turboquip on Jarry in Montreal thx all. They should be able to fabricate on the spot ? Teflon based steel braided line to replicate the original hose I will bring in. I expect to receive a kit with hopefully the right sized -Brake Caliper Seal & Stainless Piston Kit BC54TPSS - from www.brakecrafters.com have cleaned up the empty caliper as best I could and expect to have it all and resolve by the weekend.

----
For a 1978 GS750 VIN# 42636 with a Single front disk & caliper, which brake line parts to order? Thanks! I am not with the bike so cannot measure but wanted to order soon. My other option is pulling the line when I get to the bike end of week and bringing it for a custom steel braided line if I can find a company that does this in Montreal which would be an ideal source if I could find one.

Best bet is to measure.
Venhill.
https://www.venhillusa.com/
is a USA company, Available in Canada, according to AI:
Venhill products, like motorcycle cables and hoses, are available for purchase in Canada through online retailers such as Amazon.ca, Amazon.ca, Amazon.ca, and Amazon.ca, as well as on eBay through stores like Venhilldirect. Additionally, some Canadian retailers, such as Sane Motion Moto, are partners with Venhill and carry their products.

I bought a single brake-line w/ fittings for my '82 750T online from them a few years ago. Before Covid. Customer Services was great. Contacted me to let me know the color I wanted wanted wasn't available. I actually spoke with a person.

If your Master Cylinder and Caliper are all original, you should have 10mm x 1.00 pitch banjos. just an FYI. Again, best practice is you measure to be sure.
