remember it is going atop this. It is a flatter black and the outer case covers are all gloss like the block and head.

A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.
A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I know for the purist I am butchering the bike but I have only made a couple minor changes:
ENGINE:
stage II cams, adj cam cogs, manual cam chain adj, wiseco 1166 kit, port/polish, Earl's oil cooler/S/S lines with anodized fittings, GS1150 oil filter cover, top end oiling kit with billet alum cam link S/S lines with anodized fittings, powder coated, mikuni 36mm RS Flatslides, APE oval pod filters, dyna ignition/coils/rev limiter, APE HD clutch basket, high output oil pump, welded crank, Pingel polished alum. dual feed fuel valve, S/S allen head bolt set complete, vance & hines chrome 4 into 1
FRAME:
braced and powder coated, underslung rear brake caliper conversion for brake arm mounting, 2004 sv1000 push/pull throttle
SUSPENSION:
92 gsxr 750 forks/wheels 180/55/17/clipons/triples, progressive rear shocks
DRIVE TRAIN:
530 red anodized EKchain conversion, vortex rear 49 tooth alum sprocket, anodized sprocket nuts, PFMR billet alum outboard bearing support kit with 17 tooth output cog,
BRAKES:
92 gsxr nissin's, EBC 320mm Pro Light anodized rotors with billet alum adapters for calipers, S/S lines with anodized fittings, 2004 sv1000 front master assembly
The left control is stock because I haven't found another one I like better yet that will work. The paint/cosmetics are stock till I come up with a paint scheme I like. It will look unmistakably like a katana just a little updated is allllll.
Other than a general clean up of rusty nuts and bolts the Pegs, frame, clocks, fairing, tank, cosmetics, seat, tail light, head light all stock looking.
I do think you can go to far to change a bike and for me it is doing a mono conversion, shortening the tail section/seat kind of thing. Some of those mods look wild but for me I like the stock lines. Although I do like the extended swingarm look.......
The RC TAIL LIGHT didn't work for me and I am still working on the cbr 929 triple installation. That will be some futsing about but I really want to get that billet alum vortex drop top triple installed.
I don't know why it has taken so long to get this done???
nuff said.
