A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Still need to finish the carbs, proper mount the seat, fab up some different side covers and re-locate the rear blinkers.
Thanks for looking!

Nicely done, my favorite here, mostly because it has a nice look and retained a lot of originallity, hang that chrome front fender in the garage and get another one to paint, match the paint scheme of your tank and cowl, I think you'd be surprised at how much more pop it will have.

Thanks!

I will think about it. The fender isn't from my year and model and had to be modified to fit and the bike didn't come with a fender. I might use your idea and paint a fender. I have anther mod I might do as well.

As it is now, it puts a smile on my face everytime I see it and a goofy grin everytime I ride it.

here is my old Gs 750. From back in '05. I built it in 2 weeks, and rode it everyday. Not as pretty as these others, but it sure was fun.

Im currently working on a cheap cafe racer looking 79 GS 550. Another fun to ride bike....

My '86 GSXR 7/12 is my newest ride...and nastiest by far ....

Seat is being redpainted to match the pinstriping on the tank. Just have to finish up a bunch of odds n ends and she'll be ready for the road

This is a 1980 gs1100 that I had intended to cafe but decided to do more of a brat style instead. Shortened the rear by 9 or 10 inches and shortened and narrowed the stock seat pan. Had a local shop do seat foam and cover. Other mods are a 7" round headlight, smaller gauges, turn signals and mx bars. This winter I plan to strip off all the unused wiring and paint it and powder coat a few parts. I have a stock air box I want to put back on too.

Ignore the dead cat in the upper left.
