I'm going to be home for a few days for Thanksgiving, and I wanted to clean out the carbs. My bike has been sitting for a while, so I figured a full tear-down was in order for my 1983 GS650G.
A friend of mine suggested first just spraying cleaner into the floats(I think?) instead of taking it all apart. Is this advisable over a full teardown?
Also, if I do take it apart, is there any hard to letting the parts sit in a garage? I guess I could always put it back together but not do the synching till Christmas time.
Either way, I'm just excited to spend some quality time with my baby
Thanks in advance!
