A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Any of the Cincinnati area memers have any experience with Racers Edge in Bethal OH? They have a bike I may be interested in. Web site looks like a salvage yard/ auction bike sales place. Don't want to call if they are shady or have bad rep.

Thanks for any info.

Which one are you interested in?[/QUOTE]

They have a 1999 ZRX with a claimed clean title. Paint looks rough but a complete bike. Asking price seems hi for needing a repaint at minimum. Don't know if they are worth the effort to deal with and then have to take a road trip or ship bike to WI.

Web site says cash only no checks, visa, or MO on bikes. Sends up a caution flag for me without more info.

This one is a lot closer to you:

Looks nice in the pics but has been repainted.

FYI, found the bike vis this search:

I know about this bike. Looks good in pictures, repainted, only about 1.5 hours from my place. Will be looking at it soon. This dealer has a local reputation for flipping bikes bought off Craigslist and not willing to deal at all. Also would not let their service department touch any bike or sled I own.:(

I am fairly close to Racersedge but have no personal knowledge of them. Nor have I heard anything about their reputation. Though I suppose a title can be checked to see if its been salvaged. Sorry I can't be more help.

little late to reply here but my buddy bought a clean titled ninja 250 from them last year. went with out a hitch. Let us test ride it and take it home that day. If he knew that as the bike he wanted before he went we would have been in an out in probably under an hour

i would be willing to inspect the bike in person at racers edge if needed, just float me a tank of gas or something for the drive, 1 hour away.
its just a salvage yard but they do a good job of telling accurate picture of what is wrong with the bike. pm me if youre interested,]
