Okay, my first tech question for you all.
I recently purchased my 82 1100e (pictures already posted:-D) for a steal of a deal. Originally, the PO was going to put in a newer clutch, but we agreed upon a lower price for the existing clutch which slipped a little around 8,000 or higher RPM's.
So the clutch slipping was a small concern, but it has progressed into having some trouble getting it into first gear at a stand still.
I searched around and found out a couple of things but wanted some overall feedback pleae.
I read that the "clutch basket" is a semi normal problem with the 1100e and having to replace them. Is this the first thing I should look at, or is their more I should look into?
