A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

"What do you have to trade of equal value...?"

Last month's Cycle World. Or some toe nail clippings, but not both.

I never understood those fish tail exhaust pipes.

Or the ape bars.

Or the front controls.

I guess I must be stupid.

Devil Bike for Sale

Devil Bike for Sale

Fast, street legal, customized 2005 KTM 450 EXC.

Wife says: Devil Bike wants to kill my husband - it's gotta go. I really hate that bike. It looks all nice and innocent sitting in that mountain meadow, but when you look at it long enough, you can see it's true nature - as I tried to convey in the first photo. It's gotta go.

Husband says: Yeah. It's gotta go.

Wife says: So here's the official marketing mumbo jumbo: "Declared 'King of the dirtbikes' and 'race ready', this bike has been customized to be a lightweight, adventure bike." Devil bike has it's paperwork in order: titled and licensed, and street legal. I'm pretty sure my husband spent a small fortune at some place called TJ's. And it did give him a nice hobby, riding trails, spending time in the garage "maintaining it" or whatever.

Husband says:
It's a man cave, not just a garage. Top end rebuild at 95 hrs. Many upgrades. Also have all the racing/riding gear you need plus receiver hitch carrier, straps, 2 tanks, plastic to convert to racing mode. Bike has many upgrades. All records. Complete owner and repair manual. Meticulously maintained. Extra set of full knobbies. Many spare parts. 3 helmets, 3 jackets (XL), gloves, 2 pants, motocross boots (size 12), 2 chest protectors, neck brace, gear bag. Upgraded seat (comfort concepts tall). Keyed ignition. On Guard lock and chain. Bike alarm. Ride legally on street between trails! Currently set up with larger tank and street legal 60/40 tires. Perfect set up for tall rider.

Wife says: He's got gear all over the place. Body armor, gloves, jackets, helmet, neck brace, and boots that look like they were built for an astronaut or something. Husband says he'd sell gear separately from the bike. I don't care, I want it ALL gone.

Husband says: $3200 for the bike and we can talk about the gear.

Wife says: $3200 OR best offer. I do not want it in my house anymore.

Husband says: Yeah, we bought a jeep so we can both ride the trails. She's just over reacting. We went out riding the trails at Hidden Falls and she didn't want to do anything past a level 2. That bike was a good ride.

Wife says: There fun and then there's scary fun. And the jeep is better because we can take friends with us. I think we should sell that devil bike only to an experienced rider.

Husband says: Well, just call me so I can get this bike sold. And it's not a devil bike.

Wife says: Yes, it is. (I like to have the last word).

Husband says: Yeah, she does.

Wife says: This could go on forever. I'm placing the ad.

Looking for $3,000.00
