A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

A poker game???

A poker game???

OK a 2005 Yamaha R1 mint, for $1000??? [NO WAY!]
I dunno, I'm gonna play this game til it crash and burn, see what happens.
Read the email, see the pic:
"Hello,First of all I want to thank you for your interest in my 2005 Yamaha R1. The bike has been extremely well maintained, it is in perfect condition, no damages and no mechanical problems, the engine runs and sounds awesome, has a clear title and 8,020 miles on it. Bike was never raced, wheelied, or dropped and it shows.

I'm currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force and I'm stationed on a military training facility, _______AFB in ________. The bike will be delivered from here, it is stored in a military compound.

I have dropped my price to $1,000 (purchase price) including delivery and handling to your address, it will be delivered free of charge through a military transportation service to a designated location of your choice, average delivery time is 2-3 business days. All documents you need for ownership, bill of sale will be provided along with the bike. It has been reduced because I need to find a buyer before my upcoming deployment take place and I don't want to waste more time negotiating."

Seems like if they were asking close to the market price, it would be more profitable for them.
When I wrote my 1st email, I dropped all punctuation and dumbed down my writing, I think that's why they answered.
No word from them now.
If somebody posted a mint R1 on a military base for $1000, there'd be a riot ouside the house.

Hey. I got a contender for death trap of the GS funnies.

Well, for the $1000 Yamaha R1 they asked for a Amazon gift card as payment.
I replied I don't see how my purchase would be protected by that payment method, and suggested using ebay for the buyer/seller protections.
No answer.

Not really a funny I guess, but wasn't even aware they made a 300.

..or trade...$500 wmmp ommp trAde guns, air compressor

Another example of something carved up so badly, it's now worth nothing. At least it was a KZ440.

This goes in the builders category of "how uncomfortable can we make this bike"...and evidently each time they asked themselves that question, they didn't give up till successful.
