A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Does every bike have to look like it's from a Batman movie?

Any kind of "Bobber" or "Cafe" made from any kind super sport bike = I'm too broke to buy new plastics but I want you to pay as much for a fully faired sport bike... Also good chance it has a rebuilt title.

I think it looks cool but I wouldn't consider more then $2800 for it...

Um, okay. I realize people get bored sometimes, and have tools and parts lying around, but for gods sake, why didn't somebody stop this before it grew? A GSXR powered golf cart than can only do 30 before becoming a death trap. Really? What a waste of a good motor.

Although, a bit of weight in the front end, steering stabilizer, wider tires...

At what speed would the canopy tear itself off, I wonder.

Maybe this is more what the builder had in mind...before the drugs kicked in.

+2.....but hey, if it's red or chrome its faster....if it's black, it's cooler! {now someone just has to combine red/chrome with black!!!....lol}

How did that bike find it's way, way up in the hills?
“Well, throwing out feelers. Price is firm. I owned this bike for 3 years and have not seen another running gt750 listed, so with that said, it's rare. AND COLLECTABLE”
Ok, now I get it: “will trade for vtx 1300 or 1800, a running shovelhead or big twin project, or a really nice running cruzier.”

I like how he put "water buffalo" on the fairing...in case he forgot....

..."custom expansion chambers"...yeah, I can see the custom welding done there...

I like when guys say they put 5 or 7 grand into a bike......and you are just like, "Um ok, where?" You will see the same old e bay blinkers and mirrors and some rfy shocks for example and some other changes but the money never shows.

He has the stock exhaust. Then clean up the rest of the mess and it's a worthy project. GT750's go a lot higher.

Wow!!! That exhaust looks to be a really bad case of "Hemorrhoids" and needs to be taken care of right away before they blow and make a mess all over the drive way.

This bike is 95% complete! This XS400 was a project bike I took on and couldn't finish. Selling to purchase another bike. Bike just requires a chain and front brake and a tune up but thats it! Bike no longer has a tach on so Im not sure of the km on it.

It doesn't seem to matter where you are these seem to show up with ridiculous prices. All seem to be 95% done as well:rolleyes:I will say this looks better than most but............................

That 4LS front brake was only on the ?72 model.
?72/?73 models didn?t have CV carbs - so he got that point right.
But he is wrong about the motor - ?72/?73 models didn?t have the ?water cooled? badge on the cylinder.

Stock gearing was selected for the stock bike?s friendly broad torque curve.
And those ?custom? exhausts probably made a mess of the torque curve.

Good chance he is selling the bike because those pipes made the bike mostly unusable.

That exhaust could work perfectly and it would still hit the trash immediately.

?Hi I'm selling my 1982 GS750 bobber bike is currently licences for the Rd but does have a few issues. Bike runs but now is struggling to go over 80 km and hour, idles and start great, guessing it's a carb issue, and only has front blinkers on it, I have the rear ones but need installed and hooked up. 1300 Obo, no time to ride or tinker with. Try ur trades.. Text or call 705-349-1505?

Probably run a lot better if he put the part of the exhaust he cut off back. I guess they have morons in Kanada too....
Maybe he was trying to clone a Harley. Loud as hell, won't go over 48MPH

It will soon be off the road with burnt valves. Ho-hum, how much damage do these ignorant chopsaw w4nkers do?

It's been on the market for quite a while.

"80 km and hour..." Some 750! Maybe he should offer it as a moped. :o
