A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Not that it would ever happen given that those bikes will likely ride less then 100 miles under their own power, but imagine counting the links and ordering a chain. "Yes I said a thousand links.... and stop calling me Shirley".

LOL. Classic.

1982 Honda MB5 - $1500 (Bowie, MD)

1982 Honda MB5

engine displacement (CC): 50
fuel: gas
transmission: manual

Hello, I'm selling my rare Honda MB5, a street legal Honda only sold in 1982 in the US. If you're looking at this ad, I'm sure you already know everything about this bike.

It has a torn seat and it has seen better days cosmetically, but it runs well. The owner before me took off the oil mixer so it just runs two-stroke pre-mixed gas in the tank.

I love the bike but I'm saving up for a new truck. Toys must go.

Thanks,

1981 Honda cb125s

engine displacement (CC): 125
fuel: gas
transmission: manual

I've got a 1981 Honda cb125s. First year of CDI ignition meaning NO Points! The carb has been cleaned and rebuilt and the fuel tank has also been cleaned out. Bike has brand new tires. It runs and rides great. Has no issues. Has been converted to 12v so you don't have to worry about the 6v problems. The speedometer is not original to the bike and states it has about 14k miles, but the previous owner said it has about 3k miles before the speedometer broke. Bike has dents in the gas tank and the paint could be redone and it would be perfect. I have a clean and clear title for it in my name. It is currently insured and tagged. It's a great beginner bike and not meant for speed. Perfect for cruising around town and not on major highways. Might be interested in other older bikes as a trade so let me know what you got. I'm really looking for a Yamaha dt 250 or rt 360

That MB5 looks fun. Never heard of one before.

A kid I went to high school with had one and I haven't seen one since. I remember some of the seniors at the school were constantly doing stuff to it. They'd remove the spark plug wire or hide the whole bike on him. It wasn't surprising to find it in the gym or out on the football field. It was so light they'd just carry it off whenever they saw it.

At least the rear shocks are still there! It actually looks kinda like a Tim Burton creation. What a mess though.

1980 Suzuki GS850. Currently not running but the engine is in good condition. Was reworking the carbs and have a lot of new parts invested. Great project bike (rat rod style). I just dont have time to put into it anymore. $700.00 OBO.

Funny....
Years ago when my wife and me were dating, I was paging thru a Fredericks of Hollywood catalog she got in the mail ( think Victorias Secret, but racier). On one particular page there were scantily clad models leaning on the best year of all Chevelles - a 1966. I went crazy..... for the car... she should have known then that there was a "problem".

$500 dollar tassels?
80s Cavalier? Aren't they available for like 5 bucks by now, or am I wrong in thinking Chevy Cavalier?
Thousands in chrome??

Cripes! I can't help imagining what happens when it corners against that licenceplate holder (lower-left) just WHAT are those hoops on the tank supposed to be? Gloveholders? Never seen that before...
