A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Funny! But to be fair he must be near to a mental breakdown trying to sell a bike that won't go over 40 mph for $4000 so you better not push him over the edge.

1980 suzuki gs850

condition: fair
engine displacement (CC): 850
fuel: gas
odometer: 16000
paint color: black
title status: clean
transmission: manual

there has been so much **** done to this bike. we will start here
stainless steel race valves,
viton valve stem seals
rebuilt head
bored 0.5mm over cylinder block
new pistons
Barnett clutch
mac 4/1 exhaust
led headlights
new plugs new coil packs
gs1100 carbs
brand new Dunlop tires front and rear
there is 5k into the motor.
been converted to hardtail

have a ton of other parts laying around. also have a gs1100 block that is a perfec candidate for a 1500cc big bore kit. whole 1983 gs1100 harness front forks and all sorts of other parts.
was considering going efi so I have 2 efi Kawasaki gpz1100 fuel rails to go with and other efi parts. there is 7k+ between the bike you see here and other msc stuff for it laying around.
bikes been painted and due to moving it around a lot the paint isn't excellent. tank has a dent in it.
bike starts and runs and is titled, the carbs lean out at 3k rpm so it has no power above 40mph.
I know I'm missing other stuff
I have video of the bike on youtube here. currently doesn't have the baffle in it but I have it.

do not email me reguarding the bike. I will not answer. I will actually get irritated.

I could never understand someone dumping cash into building up an engine then placing it into a made useless by design chassis. I?m weird though.

Key selling points:

"This is one of the most seen CBR250 R on the planet. The bike has over 138K views on youtube alone."

"This isn't your run of the Mill 250R, the bike is so modified that it is illegal for the Canadian 250 racing series."

It's awesome except:

"Now the bad, my girlfriend placed a hot pan on the rear seat which burned a small hole in it.

The front tire will need to be replaced.I recommend getting another pilot power tire, however, I'm giving you a brand new front and rear tire.

Lastly, the bike was dropped about 3 months after I got it. This cause NO mechanical problem. The frame slider did its job, this bent the frame slider bracket on the right side. This can be bent back as its CNC aluminum, it did scrape the rear fender (see picture) the new part cost around $20 ALREADY PAINTED!!!

The last bit is the front fearing at the top was scratched.. in the same (only ) drop and I believe I have a new piece already painted to replace it if you want. It never bothered me enough to actually replace it."

I don't know how much value the mechanical mods add; if he can show receipts for everything then maybe a little bit. Its been crashed (no way the rear fender gets that deep of a scrape in a no speed drop), and the seat is going to need to be replaced. If it actually has the new front fairing, he's probably only off on the price by a factor of two (instead of the normal 4-6x).
