    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The electric bike is interesting as a science project as Bill noted. Might even be fun. But yes ugly. Definitely a contender for full bodywork.

Yeah, if there's one thing a forklift says, it's speed, excitement and, "Breaks over! Back to work!"

with that rear sprocket, that has to be one high-revving motor on the electric!....and a low torque motor too. Properly, might want a gearbox.

There's nothing wrong with a kick starter - as long as it's gaudy as possible.

Same goes for the exhaust. And is that a suicide shifter on the other side? I guess the wheel has been reinvented. And a grab rail on the gas tank? The more weight the better...

I'm going back to the photo now to search for the clutch.

My favourite part is the deer bell/whistle by the right foot peg.
Probably an unnecessary add-on as no self respecting deer would allow themselves to be hit by a bike like that.

No bids already???

Ha, I've got a gremlin bell on my bike. It's hanging under the fairing. My aunt is a biker's wife and she gave it to me. I like to think of it how it's described in BikeBandit's article "it?s simply a tradition of kindness between riders and friends"

Fuel level gauge me thinks? So many ways to injure the rider on a get off. He/she thought of everything. This abomination needs to be put out of its misery. Someone gave it a pity bid.

A lot of bikes in my area have a dollar bill tied to the handlebars or frame. It's the same type of superstition, and I've never believed in them.

I have the scars to prove it! :D:D

I'm guessing that the seller has next to no net worth, but can't help but wonder if someone could sue a modder like him if the next owner crashes & burns (literally) because of the shoddy mods?

The bell scares the RoadRash Demons away... In order for them to work, they have to be given to you as a gift. I'm a believer...
