A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Soneone will buy it and then find out that after riding it for ten minutes, they
will be heading to their chiropractor. LOL

Is it the price you think is funny? How much should he be asking?

More likely the new tires, battery and paint job that indicates it was sitting in a corner for a long time.

Sitting bikes have hidden problems

O yeah here's a collectors classic all right http://www.usedvictoria.com/classif...1981-Yamaha-SR185-Exciter-Motorcycle_13980860 Price reduced I got to go get it!

LOL...That must be a joke! How times is Harley mentioned in the ad? Are you kidding me! I looked at an 80' Yamaha 250 little streeter this weekend that they said they had started the day before & and had a nice plastic car gas cap to boot. When I asked the price and they said $600 firm I practically ran back to my van...they say stupidity can be contagious

Took 1st. in the bike show. Must have been the only one there....

Bikes like these should be DELETED from eBay, for fraud.

I like how the moron says "it came in first place", but later says "it's not perfect" just to cover his ass when his soon-to-be disappointed new owner trys to get a refund and ship that POS back!!!

Besides, if you're 'talking up' a bike that came in 1st prize....I'm pretty sure it's EXPECTED to be damn near Perfect!

Because if it came in 1st place 10 year ago, but is a POS now...Who gives a ****!!!? lol

Well i did say it was only kinda funny. And yes, the price seems to be about a grand too high. The maintenance free shaft drive. Original condition with a custom paint job. Plus let's not forget it's an L.

Double sad, bordering on criminal, when you let that monkey loose on a bike with 2500 original miles!

He butchered the bike, then within 500 miles realized how bad this POS rides and handles. Now it's 'make my problem your problem for only $2000". All that work and the handlebar bolts are still rusty fer crissakes. Some attention to detail, eh?
