DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello, Purchased a stage 3 Dynojet Kit for my GS850, have cleaned and rebuilt the carbs, ordered new diaphragms from JBM Inductries, currently putting everything back together.

Struck a problem with the Dynojet Kit.
In their instructions, they give the configuration for the new Dynojet Needle and spacers as follows:

Viewed left to right, needle pointing left, Spring, STOCK washer, Dynojet washer, Dynojet circlip (on #3 groove from the top), STOCK thick plastic washer, STOCK plastic holding cap, STOCK circlip.

On my STOCK layout, I have the following, again viewed as above, Spring, thick plastic washer, circlip, plastic holding cap, circlip.
I don't have a STOCK washer as identified in the Dynojet instructions, if I try and configure as per their instructions without the "STOCK Washer" the spring rides up over the Dynojet washer and circlip.

Has anyone experianced this before?
How'd you fix the issue?
I have emailed Dynojet, waiting for response.

Thanks for your help.

starting from bottom
spring/stock washer/e-clip/DJ washer/Stock plastic spacer

Thanks tom203 & chef1366 for the info.

tom203 you asked about my current set up, yes I have those parts except for the stock flat washer, my configuration is : spring / plastic washer / clip / guide holder /clip.............there was no flat washers on any of the four needles.

On the link you provided (thank you), is #36 the flat washer and #7 the thick plastic washer?

If so I will purchase some #36's and set the needle up as per Chef1366's advice.

Also, in the Dynojet instructions it quotes for Pods and after market exhaust, which I have, 165 mains and 4 and a half turns on the mixture screws, does this sound excessive?
Thanks again for your help

I can't tell which is the thick plastic washer either. As far as tuning follow chef's advice,as this is what he does!
But be warned that cheap pods will likely cause hair loss .
