    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I was looking thru old threads and noticed this one went cold..........
My and my cousin's 1150s. His is the orange one. He bought it as a roller without an engine and most of its bodywork that he then pieced together. It now mostly sits idle as he piles miles on his Ducati. This was taken in 2010.

Somehow I missed this thread so here is my new to me '84 750 EFE. I think the US didn't get them in '84 due to the tariff wars, rest of the world did though.

Too many cc's in this thread.

I love the red and black. My all time favourite would be a very limited red and black 1100ES.

SV, I followed the rebuild / paint on yours...looks great.
Sandy, you paid way too much for that...;)

Hooptie, i dig that 550, especially in the red/black. I foolishly sold a red/black 1150e, the nicest cycle i ever owned.......

I really enjoy the bike. I rode it to work yesterday and it was in the low 50s. Been trying to rack up miles on it and it seems to like that.

I did install lower profile signals the other day too.

Thanks DB,paints good from 10 feet, maybe more in some places:(Will look at it till I get tired of it and do a repaint. The wheels are going on what to do next:torn:
Nice bike Hooptie.

today while cutting wood i realized that i too have an ES. it's a two stroke and it's very badass.

Nice Lyle, nothing beats a Stihl, I think mine is the same one. A 250.

Really wanted a Corbin seat and found one on ebay for $90. Seller did not know what bike it was for since the underside was only labeled Corbin and no model number visible. Great shape but not quite as much as a scoop as others I've seen. After a ride back down to work:

Kind of on the fence about the look vs. stock.
