Does anyone know how these RR's cope with less than stock load?
Does that still lead to more being shunted back to the Stator / overheating of the stator or what?
I'm trying to work out what would happen with this setup if you turned off the headlight (so 55w less load on the system).
The decision I am trying to make is whether to take the headlight switch loop out of the system when installing the new parts on my Skunk which does have the headlight switch. I rarely ride with it off (only accidentally) but I have been known to forget to turn it back on occasionally.
