DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I?ve got this old atp setup on an 1140 gs1100e engine with a stock unported head, and am putting it an 1325 cc 1150 e engine -stock valve star racing ported head
opinions on will it need or help to update it
E compressor or turbine side. Look to run 12-15 lbs (same as on 1140)

I've only seen one turbo bike on here in my time here.
Maybe check in at oldskoolsuzuki.info. tons of turbo bike over there.

Ok thanks I just know there is some fantastic knowledge on here and some great builders @nd tuners

Il be glad to but right now my email is down if that can work for you
and I?ve give up trying to learn how to post them
whats your engine and turbo setup
my 1140 seemed to run pretty good
the 1325 builds boost quicker but the 1140 had more power on boost
im working my way up on tuneup
im at 10 pounds and 28 degrees of timing

Where in God's name are y'all finding turbos for these old girls? I have wanted one for years, but the only options were one million dollars, or someone's trashed takeoffs!!!

Picked mine up from a friend back in late 90s
traded a basic nitrous kit and 1200$ for it
worth every penny

It's an old build, mainly raced at Bonneville and El Mirage, a bit on the streets but always was street registered and ran in that class, not race class. '82 GS1100E taken to Don Vesco's shop new in late '82 and fitted the turbo kit. Arias pistons, HD studs, welded and trued crank, porting and cam work but I don't know much more details, didn't take it apart as it runs just fine. Cam is pretty lumpy, I think pistons are 7.8:1 as that's in the old Arias catalog I have and the seller said it had low comp.

It put out 185HP at 15lbs boost but the rear wheel wasn't well balanced and the shop should have corrected it. It was also about 115 degrees that day. Anyway it's fun, like holding a lit M-80 is fun. It ran with 25 lbs boost and a S&S Super B long carb and air cleaner in its race days. I put the cheapest HSR42 I could find ($220) and it runs just fine for my purposes, but a better carb like a 48 with more tune options would open it up per the dyno man. I don't care it's a great street combo for me.

I just took it to the seller today (!) after a long time planning. He said he was happy he sold it to someone that didn't hack it up or part it out. He's 81 and he was pretty happy to see it back on the streets after hibernating since he parked it after his last Bonneville run in '96. It's gratifying to see someone having memories re-kindled.

Don't give up on learning to post, I use Imgur and yeah it's a few steps but works fine and can do quick once you get the hang of it. Everyone likes pics.

Here's one of the Rajay data plate and some literature I have:

Very cool bike looks fantastic
u put aloof work in it👍
Did u ever take it to track or only a hot rod street

I'm 60, no trackdays. I may drop the engine into a Rascal scooter and see if I can shake down some tightwads over at Leisure World for pinks.
