A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I couldn't resist this, complete and original with 35K miles, fired up and sounded OK on starting fluid, so we'll see. It has a huge back fee with the DMV so I negotiated and got it for less than it would cost to register it. So there's a conundrum, part it out or go through the DMV hassle and sell.

Paint is quite good, just had some silver splatter on it from some nearby project that came right out with a color sand. I still need to hit it with the orbital to give it a good shine but it's only got a couple blemishes. Tabs are broken off the side covers, but they are clean too. The tail section is a bit iffy. It's the first seat (not in pic) I've seen in a long time that's not split, but it has the silver splatter on it too, may be tough to remove. I have painted seats before with vinyl paint with good results.

I like the red just a bit better than the champagne on my Turbo, but it's not in as good shape so I'll probably leave them both alone.

It came with a pretty decent rear luggage rack that I will put on the parts for sale soon, as I don't think I'll need it.

If I lived near you, I'd let you keep some of your extra bikes in my garage.:D Nice find.

In some instances you can get the DMV to wave the past fees. I'm not an expert on this subject but I've read success stores more than once.

I don't want you to part it out, but if you do, dibs on the tank, okay? No dents, right?

Ditto here.
But if you do... I'd be up for the front fender and the brace underneath it.

Yeah I think I agree, I hate to part a bike out that's all there. I'm not in a rush and can give it a nice clean and polish so it can once again see the streets....

Save it. It needs to be kept complete.
