Saw this guy again today. Still with the red helmet :) Dude must live about four blocks away from me but I don't know him.
I was mowing my lawn yesterday when my untrained eye saw a UJM coming down the street. (19475)

...Suzuki emblazoned on the tank...

...GN400 on the side panel.

Whaddya know :)

Guy wearing a red helmet.

A little online search, and there is a GN forum. In German.

A few days ago, I saw a red 1980's GS1000E. It's the one with the square headlight. Had a windshield that looked to be Slipstreamer. Luggage box in the rear.

He was headed south on Pacific Highway near the Bull Pen Bar. Is it anyone here?

1100G on 7th ave moline. Parked. Missing zuki emblems on the tank. Probably not anyone here.

was at Cycle Gear in Manchester today, when a blue GS1100G rolled in the parking lot. Nice meeting you Don!

450L went by Great River Brewery. Super clean, all original from what I saw and sounded super nice.

Driving to Walmart the other day, I took one of the side streets, and saw this 1982 GS550L parked in front of a house, with a for sale sign. I took a quick picture, planning on going by later when I had time to look it over (not to buy, the wife would kill me). I went by the next day and it was gone, so I guess there is a new GS owner out there. Maybe a new GS550L owner will show up here.

GS 450 under the Seattle Viaduct

I see this bike parked near the ferry under the viaduct every day. Does anyone recognize it?

Cool. A GS450 in WA :)

I always see a blue GS850G right off I-5 at exit 169 right on 50th street. Should have taken a picture. But it's out there in the drive way!

Cool. I go to the UW, so I'll have to walk over and check it out. Maybe I'll snap a quick picture of it too.

Two in one day!

Two in one day!

So today I took and end of the semester celebratory ride. I went up out of newark into Harriman St Park in NY. Lots of bikes out, which makes sense because the area looks like this...

Only it gets a lot twistier just up the road a bit. There are 7 lakes in the area and Bear mountain so the roads are awesome.

On the way back however, I rode by a yard sale and this caught my eye.

Didn't get any details on the sale other than it was all original from '77. It looked very nice.

I also noticed a bike white SUV with a trailer and on this trailer was a GS650! I went over and talked to the driver. He was on his way to the motorcycle shop when like me saw the red yammie. We talked for a bit and I told him about GSR. He seemed very interested as he really liked his 650.

I snapped this picture just as he was leaving.

I thought it was pretty neat seeing another GS. And then while I was walking down the street I saw a 450T sitting outside a local cafe.

Two GS sightings in one day!! I also got in a great ride and was able to hit some nice curvy roads in the process.

And just because I think its a pretty bike here is another of my 850.

That's awesome Tim Tom! I think that red bike is an XS400.

The GS650 looks pretty cool when it's all lowered down with the tie down straps .

I think the 650 didn't have fork springs or something. The forks look totally collapsed.

Maybe the tie downs are compressing them all the way?

I had my son out today to try out his new helmet and we passed an oncoming bike - as i waved I swear it looked like a GS gas tank. Call this one an unconfirmed sighting.
