DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

found this little crack, will a rotor from my old 80 1000g rear 17 fit?

so far, the bike still needs a front master cyl, rear brake pads, head gasket, and lights to be sorted. they work but the grounds could use some help.

I wondered where he got to. I guess I should check the other tires I have to see if the rest of the family is still around.

I have the 850G parts bike behind the shed if you cant find a rotor.

I'll let you know. But i have 3 sets of the drilled rotors and one set of non drilled. Not gonna lie, im super stoked about this bike man! Its got patina, but its just the right amount you know! ITS GONNA BE A GOOD DAY 69

Just so you know, those wheels are off an '82 or newer G. :-k

I did the same thing with my '80 850G'K'.

.

Thats what rick said when i got it, off an 82 GL i believe. Wasn't a fan og theb 16 rear at first but the set looks good on this bike. Gonna give them a little polish soon!

I will be following with the 16" rear wheel for my 850 and my son's 1000 for our trip next year.

We plan on having tires that will not even THINK of wearing out, they are not available in a 17" rear.

.

Rick supplied a kenda hard compound touring tire. Excited to see how it lasts with the almost 600 lbs bike and my 220lbs ass. I'll be doing about 50/50 highway and city with this one.

Hard compound = good burnouts:p. And patina is the living history of a bike's life and therefore cool..... to honor the bike's Riding Game past, I hope to see it there again at least once....

Suzy II was used to get many many many game tags, but when I moved her pics into her own file on the bucket, I see she's gone from all the Riding Game posts she was in. :sorrow:

That wasn't PB fault. I tried to consolidate my riding tags into one file, so they were easier to find, not knowing that moving severed the links. I do only copy and paste now so there is not link back to PB and the pics stay no matter what happens with PB.
Her first tag with the KZ Vetter,

and what might or might not be her last tag.

As you can see I swapped the whole 1100L front end on her at one time. I didn't like the way it handled in that configuration, so I swapped it back.

Heck yeah. Those couple of summers I played a lot, Suzy II was a constant.

Glen, looking back through the riding game, I noticed you mentioning one day possibly getting a tag with an old scooter you had just acquired. :encouragement:

Ha, I got the street named Broadway tag with the scoot, but someone beat me to posting it.

I really need to get the last bits finished on that. We got busy and I got a bit lazy.
