As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hi guys...im bob from malaysia....and im new in this forum...

after searching around and using the search function....

i found some information about fitting in a 650 head & block in the 550..

but im not sure that i could find a 650 block and head in malaysia since the suzuki GS series parts is getting rare and expensive...

Here's the situation,

Now the piston rings and piston has worn out and needs replacements....

plus...block is oversized becos of the milage that the bike has gone

through....

Im thinking of rebore the block and fit in a bigger piston set.....

thus getting more displacements......

And if i cannot source a set of GS piston set??What other pistons can suit

my GS550??

What do you recommend??

Thanks guys....in advance..

sorry to tell you this but finding a over bore piston kit for a 550 is harder then finding rocking horse poop. You can still find oem pistons and rings but no overbore stuff. Your best bet is to keep a eye on ebay and see if you can find a less used 550 jug and head or a 650 jug and head and get the seller to ship to Malyasia. Either way you look at it, it is going to cost you big money. On second thought you maybe able to contact cosworth piston and see if they can make you some custom pistons, probly will also cost you big $$

Pretty much you're stuck with ebay.. I have a good 550 block in my garage along with the pistons and head, but shipping to malasia has got to be expensive...

Yep, expensive freight. FedEX economy freight KC, MO to Malaysia is $650 with my company discount. Better check ebay Australia. Good Luck
