GS700 Turn Sig Wiring Issues

I rencetly bought new LED turn signals for my bike and do have a copy of the service manual but cannot read the colors of the wires it is refering to. All the wires had been cut and stuffed into the headlight assembly so I'm clueless as to what is what even after taking apart the switch to follow it.

Still cant tell what the letters are, seems to say B/W which isnt on the legend anywhere. This is going to drive me nuts, These turn signals are the last thing I need to be able to ride, ERGO Air Pods come tomorrow or friday and the paint is all done. Too bad no one lives close by

That's OK, we don't know where you live, either.

Once you find the wires, make sure you also have an electronic flasher in place.
LED signals do not draw enough current to trigger the traditional thermal flashers unless you also install some load resistors.

By the way, the wire for the left turn signal is black, the right signal is light green.
The ground wire for both of them is black with a white stripe.
It is likely that the ground wire also has a double-barrel connector.

Now I figured it out... but a spark came from my ignition when it touched the metal now nothing works!

Fuses are wonderful things when you play around with wiring!
Remember to get that electronic flasher or your signals won't blink!

You can get a cheap flasher at your local auto parts store that will work fine ($4-$5). Take the stock one in with you and match the prongs, it is round and alluminum colored, they should have it in stock on the floor.

You're going to have a bitch of a time jetting correctly for those, ask me how I know. They're much too restrictive, choking off the carbs and making the bike run uber rich. Get K&N or put a piece of screen in the airbox boots and run it like that. Its what I ran for years. No, my engine didn't suck something in and explode.

Very true, they are also not very bright unless you're looking directly at them. OP, save yourself the headache of having to wire them with resistors and get the same unit with a traditional bulb. AKA this one:

A. On my '85 700 its a squarish plastic piece that's harness specific, I believe he'd have to adapt one of the round metal ones to work.
B. You spelled aluminum wrong. Just sayin'.
