What are you trying to do? Blind the speed cameras. Just kidding. :DThey will look real nice!:)

This bike is amazing guys .. Can I ask what u used for your rims and hubs ?
Amazing !

Those brakes look awesome, they will look fantastic with the rest of the bling. Complete opposite to mine, I have gone Matt black.

Bit more bling added today. Was never really happy with the standard petcock valve, the rubber gasket and poorly designed bolt fittings were playing in the back of my mind... so, bought a Pingel unit from Grumpy for about ?80 - quality piece of kit with a nice flat mounting bracket and gasket, bolts tighten down snug onto copper washers.

Also got new brake disk bolts on order :)

OK, so attempted to fit the front brakes today, had all kinds of fun!!

The Billet kit is beautifully engineered and comes ready to fit, what I wasn't anticipating was the missing shim which caused us offset problems with the disk and callipers. The fisch clearly shows a (est 1.2mm) spacer between the disk and hub on the spoked wheeled GS, I didn't have this so one had to be made. Anyway, it took most of the weekend but the front brakes are now fitted and look BEAUTIFUL, well pleased.

Oh, and dad machined 4 brass thumb screws for the rear hump, nice bit of engineering

Very nice.....

I don't know if anyone asked, or if is mentioned somewhere in this thread, but is this going to be a show bike, or a daily rider.....?

Cheers dude, bit of both I guess.... she'll certainly get used, although when the sun is shining mostly :)

Few little updates from this weekend. Harrison Billet made me a bespoke carrier for the rear calliper. We had to fabricate a pick up for the torque arm, this was done by picking up on the rear of the 2 mounting point and coming up to a bushed location as shown.

Jobs to do: bleed brakes, mount no plate and get the decals applied. Should be ready in time for the Southern Classic Bike Show at Kempton Park on the 25th May.... I'm hoping it'll be her maiden voyage!

This bike continues to fill me with awe. Really beautiful work and craftsmanship.

Sorted out my cleaning equipment this morning, Doris is due a 'detail' as we approach the end of the build phase..... OCD anyone!!

Worryingly this is only about 75% of what I have :S

Good lord

Today was a beautiful day in the UK.... :D

Managed to get the tank decals applied this morning, plus a few finishing bits. Final jobs to do include getting the brakes bled and number plate mounted... just waiting for Goodridge to shorten my rear hose. Anyway, hope you enjoy the pics, keen to know what you think of the decals - my dads and my initials in AJS style italics :8

And finally, the obligatory poser shot....

Mate that's awesome, love it!

And the decal on the tank is spot on, suits it perfectly.

That is a real stunner. Glad you enjoyed the weather as well. It was the first really day of summer for us in E. Kent although it got a little chilly tonight.

Love the graphics and the whole bike. A classy piece of work. Will you be showing it anywhere?

Can I put the photo up on our UK Suzuki GS Owners Facebook page?

Greetings

Truly a nice job! The question is, is it available for hire next time I come to London?
