A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

GS750 / GSXR Build

Might be a case of lining them up on panels & seeing how I feel at the time.. I did think about using the X or maybe the R.. Like GS750R

Decisions decisions....

:)

i dont think the x would work but the gs750r sounds like a plan

Wait a minute - of all people, you should be suggesting use of the X. I mean, you're from the part of the world where his bike IS a GSX. :p

But I do like the idea of gs750r. I guess you can't go gsx750r, because then you'll look like a poser.

Nice build! IMO I like the top decal. You fabricate the fork brace? what's the plate thickness?

the only "gsx" part i use on my bike is the GSX1100 forks. ,the rest is either GS, GSXR or home made, apart from the kawasaki caliper

Something like this seems to be the best R option...

Oh yeah! Looks good!
Either way would be good. I lean towards the bottom one. ...good stuff!

Would love to see some better picks and details of how you did the rear swinger and got a 5.5" inch rim in. I like you build.

Dang, and I was getting my hopes up.

What did they call it? Oh yea, "Slam" that 750!!!"

Looks good. I'll be takin notes on this one for sure. :)

Waiting on a shipment that includes my sprockets & chain & then I'll get the rear wheel mounted up...

Dan :)

Obviously you have to ignore the white base.... The big one is growing on me the more I look at it.... Only have room for GS750.

Full floater & the S look pretty good on the rear

All this is just mocked up right now....

Thought about some pin stripe...

Or maybe the S

Less is definitely more..sh*t can the stripes all together. It would look really cool if the suzuki logos were done like ghost images (ie. pearlescent white mixed with clear) and then sprayed over the black. Look at how the skull look in this picture..but imagine the word suzuki. The effect is subtle and stealthy but effective.

Dan,
Might I suggest Photoshop?:D

OK even in a pinch PC paint will work. If you have Powerpoint, you can add words in one of many fonts and rotate them with the text object tool. Much easier to tryout different stuff

Jim

BTW I like the center strip, just don't over do the 750 decals

I liked the pinstripes. I think a middle sized 'Suzuki' would be best. The small one doesn't seem to fit right and the large one seems to totally dominate the side of the tank. My friend could make some up if you wanted me to have him. That's what he does.

My vote is for the double pin stripe down the middle, medium size suzuki logo on the tank, GS750r logo, and of course the red Full Floater logo on the tail.

The black looks good enough to save in the photos. Is it?
