I feel like I've tried 'everything' to get pods to work on Suzy.
From Zed's air correctors to needle heights to jetting and everything in between.
I've been fighting with it for too long now, and it finally dawned on me to give up and install an OEM airbox and rear cleaner set.
Long story short, I found one for sale in Japan, took a bit of a gamble (it came off a GSX750S, but the photographs had all the right numbers on for a GS750T), and it might have paid off.

But...
...You knew there'd be one =)
I removed the carbs and tried dry fitting the airbox tubes onto the carb throats.
No chance.
My trusty digital vernier caliper revealed the problem.

The airbox tubes are 49mm in diameter.
The Carb throats are 53.
Question:
Is this extremely tight (impossible) fit normal?
Or do I have the wrong airbox tubes?
The airbox tubes are hard plastic. If they were ever soft and malleable, that ship sailed a long time ago. There is zero give in them.
Can any knowledgeable folk out there help me?
Because if I can't get them to fit with all the space in the world... I ain't never gonna get them to fit inside the frame!
Thanks.
Marcus
