A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

im sure i will get hate for this..

by god i was bored an the bikes about to be parked to be rebuilt.. did a few practice ones...but with a 1/4 tank of fuel some clutch and stand up action i think i have achived it...

rode it all through first gear(5mph or so roll) with a fairly smooth set down....

all the crap ive put my 850 through it still chugs along with no complaints

enjoy

Hey, I love wheelie's too! And, you did it off the main roads (at least it looks that way). No issues with that in my book. However, we might need to talk about proper body protection...

Im waiting for the famous picture of the broken shaft that I think Steve always posts. lol
The only bike I have ever wheelied (meaning got the front tire off the ground about a foot) was my 82' 550L. haha seriously. That thing pops up like nothing.
Cool pic.

nice lol. our resident "stunta".
cant wait for all the ATGATT preachers to rip into you haha

I don't know if I ever had a bike that I DIDN'T wheelie. my 1100F will carry it to 100 mph, & my 82 1100E wheelis a easy as a big thumper.

As for gear, well it your butt. I say this though, absolutly NO shoe laces allow an a motorcycle. Ever! Lose the tennis shoes.

Its been a few years since i have tried that , to chicken now as i get older ,lol, and if your caught in Ontario now they consider it street racing and can lose your bike and license not worth it i guess, Brian:cry:

You need a Bandit.

Well, I don't know if 'need' is the proper term... but if pushed hard enough, they'll pull the front wheel up a bit.

I know because I've seen it on Youtube.

Well, at long last we have photographic evidence that it's possible on an 850!

i know, i was at work, all my gear was at home about a mile away...and it was on a side road with no traffic at the time

Pretty cool. Nice to see the roll of tape did not hold you up, LOL. Shaun

From the son's 650L, during his college days. He insists that he wasn't racing. :-\\\

.

You`ve got some balls man. Not for pulling the wheelie, but for posting the pic! Love it haha. Any bike with a clutch can pull a wheelie if you know what your doing. I`ve never tried it on my 850 though, I have a phobia of shattering soft aluminum fork legs!
