I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Got my o rings, thanks so much, I appreciate the kit you put together and the info sheet. Great!
I'm awaiting some samples. They were mailed out today. If this size works (the last two didn't) I should have a kit ready in ten days. If the samples don't fit, there's no telling when I'll be done.

Robert, don't worry about the gloves....seriously. I wouldn't wear them anyway since I have a much better pair now.
Robert, yes I reassembled the exhaust the same way I found it, so I guess you could be right on it being an exhaust leak. But I still don't understand why it wouldn't get louder as the rpm's go up instead of going away. Anyway, I hope you're right and it quiets down for you. If so, would there be any interest in selling it? ;-) I'm kidding of course. My mailing address is still the same. Why do you ask?
Hi Robert. Sorry, I just saw your question about the exhaust ever being off the 1000G. The answer is...I have no idea. The guy I bought it from was the second owner, and only had rode it a few times, then parked it for a few years. He was convinced it needed a valve adjustment but obviously he was wrong. I don't even know who the original owner was. My thoughts are that if it were an exhaust leak, wouldn't it get louder with higher RPM's, rather than going away? I had the exhaust off of it once, but it was tapping like that before and after. Pretty sure I got it back on good with the spacers in place like they're supposed to be. I know that noise is annoying. If it had not been doing that, I quite possibibly would still be owning it.

Hi, I have ordered your kits for many years as I run a small hobby business ultrasonically cleaning bike carbs. I am trying to source orings for Mikuni carbs from Z-1 since they sell them in packages of 25. I have a thread running in the carb section here asking for the sizes of the rings for a gs1100. Someone suggested I ask you what size the orings are. Would it be possible to send me that info?

    Thanks,

    All the best,

    Simon.

It worked well on both bikes. The red one has a more solid lever, there is either a little air in the blue one or the calipers are not 100%. I'd do it on any other bikes I own. I post stuff like that so others can make use of it. Hope it helps.

Hi There, I recently ordered one of your kits and it worked wonderfully. Thank You. I forgot to add the drain orings for the penny tho and am having trouble finding ones that are the the right size and rated for fuel. Wondering if I could bother you to possibly send me four of them for an '83 850G or point me in the right direction to attain them, Thanks.
