    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello from The Netherlands

Working on my dream-bike.
A Harris Magnum 4 with GSX-R enige with 1201 Wiseco pistons and ported head.
It'll have WP forks, Dymag carbon wheels and a Yoshimura Duplex exhaust.
Was thinking on stuffing a turbo-system in it, but the more I think about that, the more the idea turns me off.
Putting in a strong and clean looking engine will probably suit the (looks of the) frame better.

And this is a bit special.
It was created by a good friend of mine - Menno Hindriks - back in 94.
It's called a UPSSR 750AR- UPS was a scrapyard for bikes and SR stands for street racers.
Hens the UPSSR name, model was called 750 AR (all-road). But what's in a name...
Everything is made by himself.
A 3 piece frame, alloy tank and even the bodywork.
It has a '90 GSX-R750 engine with ported head and cams.

Last pic for now is of my JMC GSX-R1216.
JMC was a swingarm builder in the UK.
They made a few frames swell.
By my knowledge this is currently the only one outside the UK.

Apart from some minor parts that have been replaced or modified over the last 40 years (like most Kats) it is in a very unmolested state and looks great.

Last weekend, in the hunt for good exhausts for my S, I managed to track down and pick up this '77 GS1000C!
It is now in parts, but is complete.
Turns out to be frame number 100678 and engine number 100509, so first batch GS1000 I believe!
The exhausts of course go under the S and the C is now in storage.
Definitely worth a restoration, perhaps in the (near) future.​

No worries mate, have 2 more and a 750 aswell...
 
Both. I have a 1100 in parts, a 750 and I'm working on a mod/custom.
It'll have a GSX-R lump in it, a turbo'ed 1216. Makes about 225 at the rear wheel.
Frames is mono-shocked and braced, one-off swingarm, lengthened GSX-R1000 K4 forks, Hyperpro rear shock and probably a set of PVM 7Y spoke wheels.
But all still in progress...

I really dig your collection and the modified cycles. If you're not there already, you may want to check out Old Skool Suzuki.info. they live and breathe heavily modified bikes and not just the GS / GSX range. Just be sure to stick around here.....
 
Picked up this Katana last weekend.
German (rear) seat unit and creative colors, so needs some work.
But it's a runner though...
