    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

  • In order to help others find info on a particular bike, be sure to put the year, make or model of bike that you are asking a question about, in the Topic Title. This will allow people to pass by posts they have no interest in.

WoooooHooooo it's going to be MINE!!!As you can see it is as rough as I said.Yes it's all there, learned that lesson the hard way:( Tank looks a bit rough and rusty but I'll Evaporust it and see if I need a liner. All the plastics look absolutely GREAT!The fairing even has a nice screen. The seller is working with us and taking payments, just wanted someone to get it back on the road or at least use it to save other GPz's.Off to join KZR:dancing:

PS:can you tell my wife has a happy hubby:D;)

Trying to register at KZR but having no luck.Sent the admin at least 1 email, maybe more.

That is ONE sexy bike!

so was I but found a different registration page, so hopefully it works for you....I did not register so I really don't know if it will go all the way through...give it a shot...

.

It worked after a few tries, they're scramble thing was tougher than some.

It's certainly a Canadian-Spec bike, as I see no emissions equipment on the valve cover.

To my eye, it's going to need a ton of time & money put into it to be nice, and when nice ones come up for sale they are lucky to fetch $2k.

The '81 I'm repairing is turning into a money pit also.

Good Luck on your project!

I put tons of time into all my bikes anyway. It's just what I love to tinker with. You would be amazed at how thrifty I can be.Nice Kawi's seem to get a premium here.

Nice!!!:D

This going to be a runner project or a rebuild? Fun project either way.

BTW, is the front engine mount rubber mounted? Interesting...

I'll see that the engine feels like but unless I HAVE to I'm not messing with it.Doing a full frame strip down and repaint or polish of every thing I can get my hands on.In other words an SOP Greg redo:DYeah I noticed that rubber mount on the front engine mount to.Kind of different.I was kind of hoping to get a shaft drive for my next project, out the window now.

As much as I can see doing it in Kawi Green it's just not going to happen so red it is.I'm not that thrilled with the idea of 3 red bikes so it looks like the 1000's going blue.
