    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I am back………

Yeah, What ^ he said, you been here at GSR before?... Does this mean wanting back on a GS, or just back on a bike? Sorry man, we're pretty nosey around here... Oh yeah, Welcome.

Nosey is No Worries……kinda my middle name. Sure, I have been here. I last was here 15 years ago when I had my Accident. I do want another bike for certain. I pretty much broke my 83 GS 750 in half.

Why, do you have some bike suggestions?

Is Scotty still a participant here?

Ohhh, hard to suggest for someone I have no clue about. For me, today, My favorite of what I own now, would be the Kawasaki ZRX. But would think for someone into Harley look-alikes or tourers, that wouldn't fit too good. Which direction are you leaning towards?... Dang, I don't remember hearing from Scotty for seems like a long long time, Is Alweeja your orig. user name back then?

Yeah believe or not my user name was still available. Is the Kawasaki ZRX Real expensive? I am budget minded. It has been Too Long.

GS1000G is my favorite GS. Super durable 2V engine, shaft drive, what's not to like? That said, I'd search your local market until you can find the best sample available. Pretty much all GS's are awesome.

Welcome back. Good luck in your search. I wouldn't recommend a ZRX if you've not been on for 15 years and are rusty. It's got quite a bit of spunk. GS850G is a fan favorite around here. Very smooth and pleasurable to ride. That is if you can find one.

I like the light feel and agility of the ZRX, the "99" Bandit would be 2nd. The newer Bandit feels heavier and less agile than the earlier ones. Like ddaniels said, They are spunky, depending on how far you turn the throttle. Never anything neg. to say about the 850G and 1000G, and I do like the shaft dr. but they will never be as agile or peppy as the ZRX or Bandits. Like I said, you got to decide sort'f what "YOU" are wanting. What are you thinking?

Welcome! 15 years is a long time. I hope the road will be kind to you.
I read on this site that Scotty passed away some time ago. I miss his posts and his humor.

I sense by "pretty much all" you're excluding the L's :(
