    A note to new registrants...

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is to be used by folks who sell parts or services for GS series motorcycles regularly, or as a business.

If you are interested in providing parts and/or service to GSResource members it is expected that you will 1) keep customers informed on the status of their order, 2) you will reply to customer emails and PM's in a timely manner, 3) you provide what is agreed to in a timely manner. If personal circumstances prevent you from doing this, then you are expected to inform the customer before any transaction takes place. Failure to follow these basic business rules will force me to ban your forum account and list you in the Deadbeat forum.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

JIS screwdrivers for your Japanese bike

I've been riding and wrenching on my own bikes for 40+ years. My current ride is a 1980 GS1100 with Bandit/GSXR mods and some engine work.
My company is called Gofast Innovations and is located in London, Ontario Canada.
Many of you may not realize the screws on your Japanese bike are not Phillips. They?re JIS screws. It?s been that way from the 50?s right up to the newest bikes on the showroom floor today. JIS stands for Japanese Industrial Standard.
Yet many people still use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten/remove those screws and wonder why they have mangled the head. You need a JIS screwdriver.

My Gofast Innovations JIS screwdrivers sit deep in the head of the screw because they were designed just for that style screw with none of the ?slop? that a Phillips would have. Because it fits so tightly, there is less chance of ?cam-out? and ruining the screw. I might add, my JIS screwdrivers fit Phillips screws perfectly too. I patterned my drivers after the popular Vessel line. Same quality materials, chrome vanadium shaft, heat hardened magnetic tip, etc but with one big difference. Customers prefer my handle design. My ergonomic handles are molded from a strong thermoplastic resin core fused with bands of a high-friction material to resist slippage in the hand and provide more torque to the screw.
I have a website that explains everything in more detail and you can purchase a set there too. This is a premium screwdriver set at a reasonable price, free shipping in North America and lifetime guaranteed. I can ship worldwide for a small additional fee depending on where you are located.
If you own a business that would like to carry my line of Gofast Innovations premium screwdriver sets contact me for volume pricing. Likewise, if you belong to a forum or facebook page, you can inquire about a group buy.

I have a set of these and I couldn't be happier. I don't think I've had a single warped screw since using them. I wish I had known about these drivers years ago!
