    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

  • In order to help others find info on a particular bike, be sure to put the year, make or model of bike that you are asking a question about, in the Topic Title. This will allow people to pass by posts they have no interest in.

Be a great candidate for a frame off resto, those bikes are bringing top dollar restored!

Tank is really good. Dash is junk. $1000 will buy it

Thanks Steve... I will see how spring goes in the car biz... or maybe sell the Harley... you never know...
Curt

Damn! Too far away. While not a fan of the styling when they were new, they've since grown on me.

Stay away from my Z1R!!! Chances are slim. But I really liked that bike new. I put wheelie bars on that one too... My first liter bike...6pk, hows the weather in NS? And where's my cigar?(:

Curt

Was freezing cold for a week or so, but the last few days are above freezing and all the snow is gone.

And I haven't forgot that cigar for you. Gotta get my sorry arse to a smoke shop. You're after a true Cuban Cohiba Cigar - right?

I really wanted that rim - seriously! I never knew it was a radial only rubber size.
You still got it? A slightly wider front hoop and a front radial and......

Still got it... Hope I have to sell it for gas money to Canada...
Curt

Going to evilbay soon. Need cash to work on zed #1. Sold the gs1000s after 12 hours.and nothing is as sexy as a z1r save for a katana

 Visiting the Great White North or migrating?

And Damn on that rim. Posplayr's looks so good with ton 'o rubber out back. Hummm...............

Sorry for the thread crap! Back to the Cow a Saki.

Was just going to visit and steal a Z1R. Its off to fleabay... I don't think they would let me cross the border back to the US anyway...
Curt

Geez - one grand. One could toss it in the corner and wait on more coins. Next one you come across will be more than a grand for sure.
And getting back across the border just requires documentation. Some for the bike, some for you. Since the bike has a title, you got passport issues?:D Some Viet Nam protesting or long past hazy days takin' it to the man?;)

Canada is the world's welcome mat. We take them all - and pay lots to keep 'em too. Welfare capital of the world. You'd more than likely get a few hundred thousand dollar grant to restore the Zedder here and put it one of our heritage museums. Plus get a sweet little 10 minute vignette made in your honoUr showing the struggles of a displaced person and the suffering of trying to live on such a pittance.:)

Bring it across the border and I'll take it the rest of the way home. :)

Seems as though KZ's in general are doing quite well on Ebay.

I have always the 1978 KZ650 and hope to find a decent one at a reasonable price.
