As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hey all,

I am looking for the measurments for the o-ring sitting at the bottom of the carb, on the float bowl (the o-ring for the brass screw to empty the bowl).

Outer and inner measurment, as well as the thickness of the o-ring.

Anyone that can help me with this? My local Suzuki dealer says that this o-ring is not available at their shop, nor can they order one from their dealer.

Although, I have an excellent shop nearby that sells TONS of o-rings, but I need the exact measurments! My old o-rings measurments are just not good enough, they are really worn, deformed.

Thank you!

take the float bowl and brass screw to there shop. all that o-ring does is make a seal to keep gas from weeping out. if its the one on the very bottom. thay should be able to match the inside dia. with the shaft on the screw. the out side dia. will be any that is close to the threds on the screw.

about a year a go there was a guy on the site selling all the orings cheep for a rebuild. if thay cant get one that will not leak i bet he will have it.

I use nylon or fiber sealing washers from the hardware store on my carb bowl drain bolts. They're cheap, reusable and don't leak. 1/4 inch are a bit big for the 6mm bolts but work just fine.

For all the other o-rings, definitely order a set from Robert.
