A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello, can anyone who has one of these tell me which size to reorder for the nipples that screw into the manifold? 4MM or 5MM? I broke one of them, but cant remember what size The Suzi takes.

5mm.

Guess that answer was too short for the forum software, so here are some more words.

Thank you, didn't want to order the wrong ones, especially from England!

I just ordered 5mm ones from Motion Pro.

That way, I can leave them in and synch my carbs anytime

Bought a set of these last years. Put them in, synced up the bike, and when out for a short ride. After about 15 minutes, the bike started running really crappy. Limped home and discovered that the caps had fallen off two of the ports. The other two were pretty soft from the heat and I suspect they would have fallen off eventually too. Put the original screws back in, and these things are now part of my permanent "Well, it looked good on paper!" collection.

those do look like a really good idea....

i bought a set of long adapters for the ports so i can get to them when synching....

just have to pull the allen bolts out and install the adapters when i synch

They have some kind of nylon ones on their site as well, I had the brass ones and to be honest they were a biotch to screw and unscrew. I wonder if those would be any easier...

the plasitc/ nylon ones are ok but quite easy to cross thread

i always put a tiny drop of release oil on my brass ones before fitting as it make removal easier

another trick to avoiding breaking the adapters off is to let the bike cool before removing them, i guess the brass expands quicker than the ally head & sticks them in till its all cooled, when the come out dead easy

I dropped one of my nylon ones never to be found. I just ordered the brass as a replacement. The nylon ones are as stated easy to cross thread.

Good to know, guess I will stay away from those and order the brass ones.

Not gonna cross thread the hole with the nylon, but they are a biotch to get started and it just seems the threads are gonna get snockered up over time (from cross threading), so when I lost one decided to replace with the brass.

Just ordered me some up, straight from across the pond! $21 bucks though, Ouch!!!!
