A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hi Guys. Been on here for a bit but only just got to get some pics up. If there is too many feel free to b*ll*ck me. Also feel free to comment and tell me, that bits wrong, that bits buggered etc :D

I see your problem - it's a blue one and everyone know red ones are better.....:)

She looks nice and tidy. What are you going to do for mirrors? In case you're not aware a set of standard ones for the fairing will set you back a very large sum -if you can find them.

Edit: that tank sure is nasty inside.

Yeah here we go red white blue white lol. Im not bothered- ive come off all colours of bike :D thanks for the compliment. It will look much better when I start and finish it. Im not looking for a show and shine finish though just want it to look like a real clean standard bike. Yeah been doing a lot of thought about mirrors. Really don't want handlebar mirrors or bar ends. I have been searching the last few night for the original fairing ones to no avail. Il keep looking though as that's the look I want. I have seen after market it ones but they just aren't quite right. Ive got enough to go on with for the min though. Tank clean out, carb strip, clutch check, valve shim check, carb balance, fork seals, new speedo cable etc etc

Yeah I agree on the tank. Was gonna look into doing it myself with a load of nuts on a bit of string but think it needs doing properly. One company will charge ?150 for a complete clean then a re seal. Would save a lot of hassle but a lot of money.

Nice - I'm surprised we let you get that one back across the bridge!

If you think that is a lot of money you'll drop a turd when you finally see some stock mirrors up for sale.

Paying $400 for a pair of mirrors is one thing but ?150 for a tank clean is another :D Id be admiring those mirrors everytime I walked up to the bike so well worth the money ;) The only time id look in the tank is to stick the nozzle in

I'll have to keep a look out at auto jumbles then? You haven't scared me off yet. I'll sell one or both of the other bikes if I have to :-)

You can have custom mirrors made, for less than the stock ones for yours!
That is a beaut!!

(My GS seems slower after the red was changed to blue, but it's probably my imagination!)
