A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I bet you can get close to 3500 for it. Very clean. In the pics it looks practically museum quality.

By the time someone buys a rough non running one of those for $500... They would have way more than that in time and parts to get it to that condition.

Exactly. Hey if you want to buy a heap of crap, source parts, rechroming and other services. Spend thousands and then have something completely unoriginal then fine. People like to spend dozens of hours over months in the garage, done it myself but hey if you don't want that then you buy something like this. Simples ;)

Looks like you guys are right on the money. There is one on evil bay similar condition to mine struggling to make 3K at the moment. Looks like a keeper then??ebay 161300181308.
Hell it would be worth getting this as a stablemate for mine ;)

You get that kind of money for the restored 2 stroke Kaws because they are nearing extinction. There are still a lot of GS Suzis out there. Supply and demand. Never was an H1 or H2 anywhere near as good a bike to own and ride. Yes, they were fast, and they sounded like sh*t, the ones I rode were evil handling, peaky wheelie happy rat traps. A buddy of mine tried hard to sell me his decent shape H2, and I should have bought it as an investment. It would have sat other than maintenance rides.

Beautiful machine. I'd keep it, that thing is sweet, and my favorite color too.

Lots of interest from evil bay?.shouldn't think this will last long.

Not to mention that the early ones were 20 mpg bikes. Not enough range to get out of town on.

OK sold first day for, had 4 people wanting it so it went to first one who offered me cash deal for a price I couldn't refuse. Beat Griffins estimate by a long chalk. Looks like mint GS's are getting sought after now?sorry to see her go though!
It went to a good home though, the guy has a collection of absolute museum quality 70's Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda 4 strokes so she'll fit right in.:)

Where was your ebay listing? I never saw it. I started looking for it as soon as you posted this:

I never found it.

That was my first big street bike. I went from a Kawasaki 175 2-stroke enduro to the GS. Got 3 tickets in 3 weeks! Thats what got me into roadracing and off the street racing.

Congrats on the sale, glad you got what you needed.
I don't think i am out of line is asking....can you please let us know what that offer was.
It would be good to have a benchmark price.
