A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

New OEM Polaris SH775 price drop

Soo .. i usually make it a point not to cross-post but this is info
that i think should be in this thread :

What may be of interest : seller made a mistake on the customs declaration,
which cost me extra on import charges.
The seller immediately responded, and offered to refund the amount
i had lost, and did.

Just saying, stand-up seller as far as i am concerned.

Today it says 7 sold, so not going too fast.

Received mine Saturday. Looks exactly like pictured, the same part number SH775AA.
And the 71001103 number is the same. THe number on lower portion is somewhat different, maybe that some date of manufacture number or something.

Have yet to procure the connector/harness (and I need to get organized to order lots of other parts too, but that is another story).

One curious thing: THe auction description says "ships from Arizona", but the return address and the zip of the postage machine is Buffalo Grove Illinois. Probably some significance to that, but now sure what. I suspect some ebay sellers arrange for the auctions, but hire someone else to receive the stuff in bulk from some suppler and to do the handling and shipping. Or maybe the opposite: someone orders the stuff in bulk and does the packing shipping, but hires someone else to arrange the ebay auction

During the last couple of years of trying to find parts as I need them while traveling I've sent messages to eBay sellers asking if I can pick up parts in person. It seems that a common answer is "No, the part is shipped from one of our warehouses" which leads me to believe there's a lot of resellers sourcing the parts from a central supplier. I'm pretty sure that genuine Suzuki parts works the same way.

Do you really think Rock Auto has every part from every manufacturer in stock ?
They consolidate the inventory procuring and advertising process and ship from the store rooms of their partners.
While Rock Auto may be based in Madison Wi. they will ship parts from all over the country .
Amazon started in similar fashion and grew into these giant warehouses from which to ship many common items.
