If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

New OEM Polaris SH775 price drop

Actually, the part number and the "AA" say it's for a SeaDoo, but it's still the real thing. :encouragement:

Good find, Dave.

.

Interesting! I like that they include plenty of good quality photographs. Notice the seller's handle, too...

If it's not genuine, a lot of work went into the knock-off!

Reasonable price for brand new, but I was used to spending $40 on those soil-encrusted PowerSport Nation take-off units. I guess we got spoiled.

Sheesh..wish I had seen this a few weeks ago....just got one for my 80 gs750ed.....a nice filthy one. Lol...

So Steve and Grimley say is the real thing.

RobertBarr says is a good price.

Anybody buy from this seller (has 66 feeedback). ....?

Any other comments on the price and/or seller?

WHere, again, is a good reference for the Truimph or whatever part number for the wiring harness/connectors....?

(I should see what my stator looks like after about 5 years on a shunt type R/R)

Just noticed they sell a SH775 "Polaris 4012941 Rzr" and a "Polaris 4012941 BRP".
Does anyone know the difference ?

That's not a bad price!

I bought mine for considerably more...call me crazy?

Ed

So with all the experts gathered together....Could someone tell me what regulator I have on my 1100E?
It never looked stock to me....
Depending on what I have, the question will be if I should order one of these SH775s.

.............

Today it says 7 sold, so not going too fast.

Received mine Saturday. Looks exactly like pictured, the same part number SH775AA.
And the 71001103 number is the same. THe number on lower portion is somewhat different, maybe that some date of manufacture number or something.

Have yet to procure the connector/harness (and I need to get organized to order lots of other parts too, but that is another story).

One curious thing: THe auction description says "ships from Arizona", but the return address and the zip of the postage machine is Buffalo Grove Illinois. Probably some significance to that, but now sure what. I suspect some ebay sellers arrange for the auctions, but hire someone else to receive the stuff in bulk from some suppler and to do the handling and shipping. Or maybe the opposite: someone orders the stuff in bulk and does the packing shipping, but hires someone else to arrange the ebay auction

During the last couple of years of trying to find parts as I need them while traveling I've sent messages to eBay sellers asking if I can pick up parts in person. It seems that a common answer is "No, the part is shipped from one of our warehouses" which leads me to believe there's a lot of resellers sourcing the parts from a central supplier. I'm pretty sure that genuine Suzuki parts works the same way.

I suspect, with the SH-775 now being an obsolete part from Polaris, they might have off-loaded a bunch of them for a favourable price to some third party, who's now disposing of them in the most effective manner. I still think they're genuine, and I'd hate to be wrong about that. If they're fakes, they're damned good ones.
However, the appearance of the 4016868 means that if the supply of SH-775s does eventually dry up, we still have a source of series RRs at a good price.
