Hi all have been reading and gathering information from here for a while so thought it was about time I joined. I'm no mechanic but always learning, my GS1000
So far shes had a top end rebuild, clutch basket rebuild, carb strip down and rebuild, dyna coils and dyna s ignition, loads of new shiny bits, marshall 4:1, hagon progressive fork sprimgs, new rear shocks, fork brace, new motabatt battery, and a respray. She will never be totally stock as I like the look of how they were modded in the 70's.
Most of what I have done has been learnt by research and the Gsresources is no1.at the moment shes running a little rich and I think I will need to replace the stator as I'm only getting 12.7v at any rpm so thats probably next. Oh and I'm i the UK Suffolk.
