A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

OEM Connectors?

Ok, I'm not sure if I'm search challenged or what but I'm sure I saw on here once a good source for OEM style harness connectors.

I'm specifically looking for the connectors used on the OEM coils.

Anyone know anywhere that I can source these? I have scoured Google with no success so far either...

And yes, for what I want to do I need OEM style if I can get them as I want to be able to switch between two ignition setups...

If I can't find them, the backup plan is to replace the existing connectors, but there's not a lot of excess wire to cut and recrimp/solder alternatives in that area...

These guys?

http://www.vintageconnections.com/

You can also e-mail the guys at z1enterprises.com. They carry some vintage-style connectors - not sure if they'll line up exactly with what's there.

Obviously shipping to AUS might be more than the connectors themselves!

Thanks Mike, totally forgot to get photos to see if that help! Tried Vintage Connectors but they just don't look right unfortunately and I couldn't see anything at Eastern Beaver either.

Rushing out the door for work but I quickly snapped these:

I'll have to shoot Z1 an email for sure! And I'm not too concerned about postage costs, for what I'm doing it's worth the effort I think... :)

Pete, I have ONE of those. Do you want it? I'll snap a pic.

The wires are orange/white and black/yellow. Both sides are female (or is it male?).

These came with my OEM GS450 coils back in September 2010, if you remember that.

Free. Just pay shipping.

Thanks for all the replies guys!

Brian: None there I'm afraid, but that was one I hadn't come across before...

FC: For now I'll keep it in mind, but I actually need a minimum of two full pairs as I need to connect something between the harness and the coils, if this makes sense. Thanks for the offer and I'll let you know if I need it :)

OldVet66: I've looked at that page about 10 times because one of their two way connectors is really close, but unfortunately not the same... thanks anyway though...

I took some more crappy photos tonight and shot an email off to Z1 to see what they say. Fingers crossed!

Do aftermarket coils come with the proper connectors?

If so you might try emailing them about getting some, just a thought

The only ones I know of for the 450's are the Dyna ones, and they don't, not sure if there are other brands or not.

Thanks for the suggestion though :)
