    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

tried to purchase exhaust from these guys june 8th, ad said ships 3-5 days, a week later emailed them and they said production delays, 2 to 3 weeks. 3 weeks later emailed again and was emailed back again and told 2-3 weeks again. by now it had been 5 weeks since ordered. called and guy i spoke to really seemed to care less and couldn't even give me a ballpark estimate. cancelled order last monday and still have not had my money returned. ordered v+h pipes from bike bandit instead and they arrived in 3 days!

OBB has made the Deadbeat list in the past but got better for a while. It appears old habits die hard.

OBB strikes again. They're pretty famous for charging your card ASAP and not shipping the goods until much later, or not at all.

You may want to check in with your financial institution about initiating a chargeback. You only have a certain amount of time to do this, so make sure you check with them to see what is required and when.

Yeah, I think its about time I changed my signature to:
"If you want to spend your money for something you will never get and never want to see your money again, order something from Old Bike Barn".

.....and you could add "or Anderson Vintage Parts" to your sig line as well.....

i placed an order over a month ago, waited over 2 weeks, went to the site only to see my order wasnt even completed so i cancelled..they told me they would return my money to my card in 3 - 5 business days...its ben almost 3 more weeks - try reaching customer service there hahaha, put on hold immediatley, then you get a recording saying "we are sorry, but due to the volume of calls we are unable to answer at this time. please leave a message, or call back at a later time." then it hangs up on you - GREAT way to do business

cancelled exhaust order july 8th. now august 4th, still no money back.

I hope you used a credit card. Just call your cc company and initiate a charge back.
