Paint or Powder Coat

Alright I'm about to send the engine off to get Hydro Blasted and the frame for Sand Blasting.
This leads me to the following Question "What do I coat the frame with when I get it back?"
Do I send it off to get Powder coated or is there something better, thought of POR-15 but not sure.
Has anybody got any suggestions.

I painted a frame with Por-15 Hardnose paint and it was a LOT of work. Unless money is tight I'd go PC.

Powder coat without a doubt, unless you are on a tight budget. Painting is very time consuming and not as durable as powder coating.

Powder coating shouldn't break the bank either - ?80 over here to blast and PC.

If you go PC make sure that whoever does it knows which bits need masking off or you'll spend a lot of (boring) time removing PC from places you don't want it (steering head etc)

definately powder coating rather than paint. just make sure you have done ALL the mods to the frame that you intend doing first.

Definately paint for me . I had my frame blasted and painted ( with a 2 pac epoxy paint ) 4 years ago and still have no chips etc . I was going for powder coating but was told that I would have to cut all the little lugs etc off before it was done . VERY happy with how the paint turned out and how it has lasted . Seems as though this is a bit like oils . Every one has different opinions and they are probably all right . Cheers , Simon .

Both methods have some merits I guess. I've had a number of frames powdercoated; some black, some silver. I've never had to cut anything off of the frame as part of the powdercoating process. I did lose the rubber coating on the bendy clips as part of the blasting process;
