PARROT or BATTERY pliers...Thought I'd share this ..I have TWO of the exact same thing. These pliers will take out ANY STRIPPED SCREW as long as you can get a grip on it. such as carb bowl or top cover screws...
as you grip the screw and turn it CCW, the pliers actually TIGHTEN UP on it and it it WILL COME OUT.
If the screws are counter sunk then i use the pin punch method.
I did a quick search on google and did not see anything exactly like these. The one was my Father's who passed away in 1970 ( yeah i'm old) and the other I found at a flea market for 3 bucks. but they are INDISPENSABLE and I use them many times each week..
