Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Pic of the week game

..
I can see that I will never have a photo worth submitting. .....
I too will invite your participation.
Hey, if you have anything that fits the weekly subject-category-theme sometime, give it a try.

I think this weeks theme has more to do with the story than the actual picture so with that in mind I have to go with Trevor's. Burque's shot is great and probably one of the best photos since we started and the family shots are really cool and make for great memories but the sh!t eating grin on those two guys kind of says it all.

Really, really great theme this week. Thank you, DaveR!

Well, if my count is correct, we have a runaway winner this week!

Burque73 - 7 votes
Dorkburger - 3 votes
Trevor and Mrs Steve with 2 each
Myself with one (thanks kerrfunk!)

Nicely done Roger....what's next?

After being puzzled and amazed multiple times of how that guy in front could be Glen.

Now I understand, Glen DB is the guy in the middle, okay, yah, I can see that now. With the black and red bike, the 1150.

....- the black 1100e was my first GS.....
........
And that is cousin in front, the 1100.

I count Roger with 8 votes, but anyway, Burque is clearly the winner.
Bob, I like your BMW picture as-is, and also some of the effects you did with it in other weeks.

Oops....Musta missed one.

I've been using that picture to try out different editing programs.
At this point, I've got at least a dozen variations.

I'll get something up shortly for the new theme. Out riding now, just stopped to thaw for a few.

I hesitated to post that shot of the lightning strike because I doubt I can get anything that fascinating again. We'll, it was a "favorite" theme so that was mine. Anyway, the search for something new and fun is underway.

Congratulations Roger.

Bob, I love the picture edit:cool:.

And yes, I?m in the center of my picture with the red / black 1150, and my cousin pictured with the 1100 wasn?t the
owner - it was his brothers bike that he borrowed for the weekend.

This week's theme

This week's theme

Looking back through some photos of my KLR, I thought this one may peak your interest. Here's a peak at the New Mexican landscape, during the peak of the riding season.

So do we assume you are talking about a picture of your bike near some sort of a mountain peak?
Maybe a peak of your bike on the mountain top?
Or my favorite peak in motorcycle tech?
How about the peak of my arc when I high sided the BMW?
Peaking through a foggy visor?

Love it, Roger....LOL...Gonna have to think a bit.

Is unusual for me to notice spelling, but in this case, I did.

There, I fixed my terrible spelling. I could have typed it this way to begin with, using homonyms (or homophones) but I thought it was funner that way.

There, ..................

I gathered that the subject-topic-theme is "peak" per your original statement. And I gathered that your misspelling was intentional. ANd you did not intend to included "peek" and "pique" as subject-topic-theme, but apparently others didnt notice that distinction. I was trying to alert them.

I guess I should feel stupid for mixing up peak, and peek, but I don't.
Frankly, spelling has never come easy to me.
Anyway, watch for my pic of a bike with a jug of PEAK antifreeze.;)
